Weekly Life Drawing at Tsuga

For your health and safety, in accordance with Washington Governor Jay Inslee's directive, Tsuga has closed the shop to help contain the spread of the corona virus. We anticipate reopening soon, and will keep you updated here, on our home page, and on our Facebook page. If you have any questions or concerns, you're welcome to reach out to us at info@tsugafineart.com. Stay healthy, everyone, and we'll see you again soon! Thank you for your understanding.

Drawing from life is one of the best ways to hone your artistic skills. Tsuga is very happy to host regular, drop-in figure-drawing sessions every Thursday, from 12:30pm–3:30pm. Note: Artists work independently –– there is no instructor for these sessions.

Model Schedule:

  • The first and third Thursdays will have a nude model; the first week will be short poses and the third week a single long pose.
  • The second and fourth Thursdays will be clothed- or costumed-model day. On the second week, the first half of the 12:30pm-3:30pm session will be gestures and shorter poses; the second half of the session will be a single pose.
  • The fourth Thursday is a single pose.
  • Check the calendar to see what we're doing for the occasional fifth Thursday.

Schedule & Fee:
Times: Thursday afternoons, 12:30pm–3:30pm. NO LIFE DRAWING SESSIONS IN MARCH.
Cost: $15 per person, per session.
