Hannah Katherine

Hannah was born, raised, and currently resides in Duvall, Washington. She earned her degree in Studio Art & Design with an emphasis in Sculpture from the University of Idaho, and has since been creating her own work as well as teaching art to kids ages 4–18. She is immersed in the arts all over the area, and is currently running the Bothell Art Walks in downtown Bothell, WA.

As a child, Hannah was always jumping from project to project, material to material. To this day, she works with wood, clay, paint, metal, resin, pastel, colored pencil and more. When teaching her students, she is sure to introduce them to everything, enabling them to explore what they most enjoy making, with materials they may not have the opportunity to use outside of their classes.

Hannah creates mandalas most often; their repetitive nature and soothing patterns are a wonderful way to focus in, meditate and express her feelings in a colorful way. They are what give her the most peace, and she wants to share that feeling with those that see her work.
